The Web22 Showcase is an event that gives you a chance to meet our Web students and see the fruits of their labour from the last three or four years, whilst at Huddersfield University.
The students are ready to show off their skills and their characters to try and impress you, now they have been released from the shackles of Covid 19. Their motto this year is "refreshingly ambitious", this encapsulates the group's drive and enthusiasm for their work.
My main focus is in Graphic Design and also I like to take responsability as a Team Leader, make decisions, and create some new ideas. I've been project leader for 1 project in my placement year to build a website for the University of Huddersfield.
I have a high interest in User Experience Design especially within Online Learning Platforms, I even did a placement working with Learning Technologies. I am a great team player but work just as hard individually.
Interested in creating coherent brands for companies across all of the assets that I develop for them, be this a website, logos or a leaflets. Adept in using Adobe XD or other prototyping software to show off my visual design skills
Front-end development and accessiblity is something which is an keen interest of mine. Desiging a website which is accessible to everyone is my aim. Hard worker alone but being a team player for me is a great attribute of mine.
I have a keen interest in UX design. And the importance UX design has on customers. I previously did a work placement where I worked with the UX team. As well as witnessed the agile methodology being implemented. I'm versatile, a good problem solver with a willingness to learn as I recently completed a web analytics course on LinkedIn.
My interests are primarily front/back-end dev work. I enjoy the problem solving element that comes with the process. Happy working within a team or individually.
My main areas of interest revolve around video editing and the more visually creative elements of Web design such as logo design and branding. Like to bring a creative flair to any project to set it apart from the mainstream.
My skill set is in front-end development and web design. The languages I'm most comfortable with are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In previous projects, I have advanced my performance on Adobe software such as Illustrator and Photoshop; outside the Adobe package, Figma has been a go-to for completing university projects and developing independent case studies.
As for my personality, I consider myself an outgoing, friendly person who's always chasing after the next challenge. "Teamwork makes the dream work" is a quote I swear by.

This project uses a combination of stock footage and original assets and demonstrates
a scenario where a user utilises the app to book a cinema ticket. The finished video uses
various effects involving green screen and the mask tool to insert video inside of a
shape layer.

This project was undertaken in Year 2 and this was to develop a helper application, for that I created a prototype for a local garden centre. In this I primarily used Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
This project is my Advanced Visual Design project in which I created and designed a rebrand for a business in York and for this, I primarily used XD and Illustrator but using more advanced techniques. I had also used Adobe After Effects and Lottie Animations to create interactive animations whilst learning and applying various visual design principles.
This is called T4 (terminal four) it's a platform in which I built this website for the staff members of the
University of Huddersfield, it is about their job descriptions, their experience and their role. Also, this website
provides the links to go to the Brightspace website and also to the ipark which provide guidance for the students
to learn in the teaching and learning process. It's an online updates website which allows staff to keep updated
with new updates every week.

This project is an overhaul of the Earfun website. This is a company that manufactures audio products. In my opinion their website was quite E-commerce looking and very generic. I have attempted to prototype a new website that is based around the advanced features of the products and how they will benefit the user.
Adobe XD was used to prototype the website. Adobe After Effect was used to make the animations used in the website.
I then used the Lottie Files plugin to export these animations into an SVG file that could be run in XD.
